The role of social emotional wealth in mediating the relationship between entrepreneurship and SME performance

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the performance of SMEs with an entrepreneurial orientation on Social Emotional Wealth as a mediating variable. This research was conducted using quantitative methods. All research participants are small business actors in Padang. The research sample is 125 respondents. In this study used structural equation modeling using PLS 3.0 software. The results of this study indicate that: (1) Business orientation has a significant effect on the performance of SMEs and has a positive effect on the development of SMEs in Padang City (2) Business orientation has a significant effect on social influence (3) Resources have a significant effect on the social performance of SMEs in terms of emotions.
