The role of social legitimacy moderates the relationship between entrepreneurial orientation and SME performance

Abstract

This study aims to analyze "The Effect of Entrepreneurship Orientation on the Performance of SMEs in Kepahiang District with Social Legitimacy as a Moderating Variable". The population in this study was 1001 UKM in Kepahiang Regency and the number of samples in this study were 278 respondents. Data collection was carried out by distributing questionnaires and data management using SmartPLS software. The results of this study indicate that (1) there is a significant direct effect between entrepreneurial orientation and the performance of SMEs in Kepahiang District. (2) The social legitimacy variable moderates the influence between entrepreneurial orientation and the performance of SMEs in Kepahiang District.
