The influence of adversity quotient and entrepreneurship education on the entrepreneurial intentions of students at Universitas Negeri Padang, with self-efficacy as a mediating variable

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyze the extent of the influence of Adversity Quotient and entrepreneurship education on increasing the entrepreneurial intention of students at State University of Padang, with self-efficacy as a mediating variable. The population in this research is all students at State University of Padang. The sample size in this research is 410 respondents using purposive sampling method. The analysis technique used is SEM analysis using smart PLS4. The results of this research prove that there is a positive and significant influence of Adversity Quotient on self-efficacy, entrepreneurship education has a positive and significant effect on self-efficacy, Adversity Quotient has a positive and significant effect on entrepreneurial intention, entrepreneurship education has a positive and significant effect on entrepreneurial intention, self-efficacy has a positive and significant effect on entrepreneurial intention. There is a significant indirect effect between Adversity Quotient and entrepreneurial intention through self-efficacy as a mediating variable, there is a significant indirect effect of entrepreneurship education on entrepreneurial intention through self-efficacy as a mediating variable.
